Non-intrusive techniques can be used for sensitive sites where intrusive investigations are not possible or used to complement intrusive investigations to provide a holistic understanding of pavement strength and condition.
Proving a greater understanding of pavement and ground conditions allows for the optimisation of pavement solutions that may otherwise not be possible when relying solely on other sources of information.
